DESCRIPTION:
Ansonia Clock Co., C.1910, Royal Bonn, "LA LOIRE" porcelain china cased clock, with 8-day, gong strike mov't with open escapement on porcelain dial, in a creamy case with light blue accent and gold highlights.
CONDITION:
overall very good original condition; some slight discoloration below the dial from previous over-oiling of mov't. Movement has been recently cleaned and is running. Note there is a mis-listing of this clock in Ly's Ansonia book, where it is shown as the La Claire (Pg 637), at a ht of 11"; La Loire is significantly taller. Ht 15"
